I started work today.  It was my first day as an English teacher.  It was not that exciting, however I am grateful to be employed.  I didn`t get to teach anyone today as I was training, but everything is pretty straight forward.  They give the students workbooks and the teachers receive proper materials with exercises.   My co-workers all seem cool, a collection of Canadians and an Australian.  My only beef is that they expect everyone to work weekends.  I am not thrilled with the idea of moving to Tokyo and started to work every weekend, but I am sure things will change in the future.   In the coming weeks, I hope to update my site with more information about teaching in Japan.  I will expose the truth about teaching here, but you will have to keep visiting for more information.  I am tired as hell so I am out.  PEACE.
