Dread in Japan

Fuji, Records, Jobs….DOPE

September 14th, 2007 · No Comments

The last couple of days have been crazy dope. I got to visit Mount Fuji which was incredible. Due to the weather, I only got a quick glimpse of the mountain, but it was amazing. I have uploaded the few pictures I could get. In other good news, I signed a contract with another English school bringing my job total now to four(madness!). Thanks to this new contract, Hawaii and the new laptop (pic below) may not be that far away.

While chillin in Shinjuku(one of the best areas in Tokyo), I was able to find this cool record shop called SHAME. HipHop, Rnb, Soul, and whole lot more. They have some serious classics for cheap. The latest additions to my collection:

Jokes on you Jack 12inch- Kid Capri

The Prophet 12inch- Jeru(Pete Rock rmx)

Ruthless 10th anniversary 2LP - NWA, Above the Law, DOC, and many others.

I could of easily spent all my money there, but I restrained myself and left with only those three records. There are nuff record stores here in Tokyo with classics. I know I am going to do alot more record shopping, but I am not sure how I am going to bring them all home. If the stores have websites, I will add them to the links sections.

This weekend I am finally going to hit a club and you know I will be back here with all the details. Till then, PEACE.

**UPDATES**- new images and links added.
