I always get questions about hooking up girls in Tokyo, so I set out to do some research. My findings were quite depressing for black men. It appears that in Tokyo, we black men are not popular with the masses. Sure, reggae and hip hop are cool here and there are Japanese girls that are looking for black guys, but they are only a small percentage of the female population in Tokyo. After months of research, I have found that most ladies that are willing to talk to foreigners are looking for white men. Even more surprising were the white men that they found attractive. Apparently, goofy equals hot out here. I have spoken to white, black, and Japanese dudes about this and nobody understands Japanese women`s strange taste in foreign men. But if you are coming out here looking for ladies, don`t let this report disturb you. As I mentioned, I can only speak about Tokyo girls. Japan is a big place and there are other cool cities to hit such as Yokohama, Osaka, and Nagoya. Yokohama and Osaka are known for throwing some big reggae parties, so I suggest that black guys check these areas first. You also might want to check the smaller cities and towns as most of the country people I have met seem to be real cool and down to earth. On the upside of things, there are a lot of foreign women here too and most of them are not looking for Japanese men. So here are my tips for those coming here to hook up:

A)Learn the language. If you want a Japanese girl, at least learn a little conversational Japanese. Some girls speak English, but it is far from common and you will get nowhere with just a simple introduction.

B)Forget it, link Japanese chicks in your country. The girls that travel to foreign countries are way more likely to be open to foreign dudes of any ethnicity. Your chances of successfully hooking up are way better.

C)Forget it, link foreigners. If you are here or plan to visit, there are so many young foreign ladies that are completely open. If you are unsuccessful with the locals, you always have your fellow foreigners. The other advantage to this is that they will most likely speak English and you won`t have to worry about any language barrier.
