Dread in Japan

Another wild weekend in Tokyo!

UPDATED!!!

So I recovered from my cold and I was back on the block. During the weekend, I decided to hook up with some Japanese friends I met in Toronto. Saturday night started off easy at an outdoor restaurant which was real cool. I got to meet some real cool people and drink some stout. Everything was cool until, we decided to meet some more friends in Shibuya. This is were things got outta control. Being a little tipsy on the train, we started laughing at this poor guy who unfortunately was with his girlfriend. In our defense, we didn`t tell him to wear that shiny @ss jacket. Seriously it was probably the most shiny pleather jacket I have ever seen. Anyways, the jokes and laughter didn`t stop til we got to Shibuya. After we got there, we immediately got into a cab and headed for club Yellow. This place looked real nice. It had a couple different floors and the DJ`s pumped music all night long. The place was filled with a good mix of foreigners and locals and the drinks were reasonably priced for a Tokyo club (about $5 CAD for a rum and coke). As there is no last call in Tokyo, I ended up getting smashed……again. I barely remember coming home. All I remember is staggering down my street and opening the door. Although it was not a Hip Hop club (they played house most of the night), I still enjoyed myself and would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone looking for a good time in the Shibuya area.

Next club I hit will be Shibuya Nuts where the Boot Camp Clik (Buckshot, Evil Dee, and Smif`n` Wesson…No Sean Price….WACK!) will holding their after party on Nov 2. PEACE.
