It`s been awhile since I posted here, but I have not stopped blogging. I have been on the grind heavy lately trying to make that yen. Currently, I am working hard trying to save my money. I was thinking about buying some cool new electronic devices that nobody has ever seen with my savings, but it doesn`t seem possible. After visiting many different electronic stores and Akihabara (electric city), I really don`t see anything that cool. Seriously, the computer equipment and devices here are not blowing my mind. Most of the stuff I see, you can buy in North America. Not only is it available in North America, it is more expensive here in some cases.
Computer hardware here is definitely more expensive unless you are looking for older parts. I was able to find sdram pc100 for about $30 (CAD) which is amazing considering that in Toronto, if you can find some, they will easily go for over $100 from a retail store (although there is always ebay). Other than older equipment, computer equipment and media are the same price or more expensive.
As for music equipment, the prices are also the same. I have yet to find a store that sells older samplers or keyboards, but anything recent retails for the same price. Computer audio equipment like sound cards are exactly the same as well. I was looking at the MBOX and some Echo audio products and found the price to be the exact same as Canada. DJ equipment is far more pricier than home. The Technics digital 1200`s are going for ?110,000 (about $1000 .00CAD) a piece which is more than Canada which sells them for $900 and under.
Needless to say, I am a little bit disappointed with prices and selection of electronic goods here, but I still love going to the stores because they let you play with the equipment before buying. Also, if you check out Akihabara, girls dressed as maids are all over. I just can`t get enough of them. Anyways, I am out. PEACE

Forget audio gear man, pick up a better camera. Your photo gallery is camera-phone pixellated.
Nice to hear you’re alive though. Give the missus a big hello from me.

yo, you need to start visiting all the very eccentric events. All the fights and kickboxing and sumo. The gameshows, the things that make Japan unique. They seem to have a wild sense of humour. I keep expecting to see you in the you tube video clips and on the fights that get broadcasted here. That would be funny to see your black ass pop up in a sea of Japanese people doing something uniquely Japanese.

@black
I wouldn`t mind checking a fight, but it is difficult to get tickets. I dunno bout that sumo thing though, not my sh!t. As for pics of me at Japanese events, I`ll email you some. I don`t know who is reading this so I am trying to keep my identity hidden. I don`t need an employer reading about me getting smashed and bunnin tings….u know. Peace
