Best wishes for 2008! I just woke up from last night`s celebrations. I refused to celebrate new year`s eve in Japanese style which is going to a temple at midnight and hanging outside and listening to them bang a gong(BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING). Instead, I finally got to reach a hip hop club (Shibuya Nuts). It was an interesting experience to say the least. The night started off terribly with a drunk bartender overcharging for drinks. Thankfully, when I when I went back to the bar to dispute the charges their was a cool bartender that refunded my money and gave me a proper drink for the right price. The rest of the night was all about drinking and listening to some big tunes. It was real cool to see people dancing and get rowdy to some real hiphop. Oddly enough, I didn`t get smashed, even though I had my fair share of drinks. Oh well, there is always tonight. As the new year begins, most companies are closed for the first week leaving alot of Japanese people on vacation. This means the bars are going to be full of drunkards so you know where I will be. Also, to start the new year there are big sales everywhere. Too bad the clothing stores don`t have any large sizes. Seriously, the biggest size here is extra medium. Hopefully, I can get my laptop for cheap though. If anyone is interested in any Japanese goods, link me and we can make some arrangements. PEACE.
