So another weekend passed with some more hard drinking. Saturday night I was way past tipsy and some friends recommended we hit Roppongi to continue partying. This is not my favorite place to be due to the fact their are so many foreigners there and it is crazy expensive. We got there about 4:30AM and the parties were still bumping (btw…parties don`t stop here) . We checked the scene which included Africans and Europeans lining the streets trying to pick up girls. If you are from Toronto, you will understand when I say it was like Yonge street on Caribana Friday. For those not familiar, there are crews of men just chillin on the street trying to hit on every girl that passes by. In all fairness, there were some blazing HOT females there, but the scene is messed up. Everybody is trying rock that hip hop gangsta style, but it just isn`t working and they end up looking more like wankstas.

Anyways, I hit the club Gas Panic (I would usually put a link to their website, but NO) and it was full of wankstas and the dj played nothing but down south music. I don`t remember hearing one east coast or west coast track. No disrespect to the south, but it is just not my thang. The place was rammed with people. You seriously could not move in the crowd and this was at 6AM. One cool thing about Gas Panic is that it is one of the only places I know that you can get a BOTTLE of Heineken. Alot of places in Tokyo offer draft or cans only.

In conclusion, if you want to meet some hot girls that speak English and don`t mind being around some wannabe gangstas and listening to some crappy dj`s, Roppongi is the spot. I however will not be venturing there again as there are so many other much more interesting places in Tokyo (that have hot girls too).
