Dread in Japan

Back to Business

Okay, I have officially stopped partying for a minute to update this blog. First, the reggea dance I talked about in the last post was ………..alright. The music was wicked, pure foundation and ska all night. One dj starting getting hype and bigging up his mouth and started a -ska- tune for tune clash. It was dope!!!!!! Unfortunately, the crowd wasn`t so dope. There were maybe 60 people there….maybe. Not happy with the turn out, I started hitting some other bars and clubs and found some wild sh!t. One club played hip hop all night and had pole dancers and everything. It was off the hook. Unfortunately, it appears that the club scenes that attract the most girls are the ones playing the most commercial music. At the big hiphop events, they play pure down south beats. No west coast, no east coast, just down south. I never even heard half of the artists the dj`s played. Similarly, dancehall reggae appears to bring in all the ladies. Even though the music might not be my taste, I am having crazy fun hitting these clubs. Tokyo is seriously off the chains! I haven`t been walking with my camera, so I don`t have any pics, but I will try to add some in the future. PEACE

Happy to hear you’re having fun over there. I hung out with Trevor last Friday, he’s good. Quit his job and is going freelance.

    I’ll catch you later.
